Christians on Campus has become a second family to me; they are my home away from home. Everyone was so welcoming when I first attended their bible studies and how much they cared for one another and how often they met up warmed my heart. The bible reading challenges have really pushed me to become a better Christian and truly learn the word of God (although I have yet to finish one, I am optimistic it will happen in the near future!), not only through my eyes, but also through others’. I am excited to continue my time with Christians on Campus and see where it leads me and the other people in it that I have grown to love and care about.
Christians on Campus has really helped me find a good group of friends that I can relate to and has provided a safe haven in college while being a Christian.
I really like Christians on Campus because I grew very close to a family who is involved with this club and they became my home away from home. They really cherished me in the Lord. Their sweet care for me was so genuine and I really thank God for connecting me with this group.
As a result of my time with Christians on Campus I now view Christ as someone who gives true joy. A Christ who even gives peace to satisfy all my longings. More importantly, I have learned to reach out and care for people just as Christ did.
Christians on campus has become a great comfort to me and helped me find new friends, have a stronger faith, and meet new people. The group is so welcoming and friendly; you always feel loved. I’ve learned so many things and have become closer to God.
When I was considering my college options, I found out that OSU had a Christians on Campus Club so I decided to enroll there. I wanted to join a group whose members are serious about pursuing the Lord. This summer I had the privilege to be with the club for two weeks for their summer internship even before the semester started. I’ve really been enjoying the fellowship, the gatherings, and the singing. Being away from home for the first time, Christians on Campus has become a safe haven to me!
Christians on Campus is full of such faithful, loving people, who continuously remind us of how loved we are on this Earth and by our Creator. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the week to get together in fellowship without conflicting with school schedules. The Christian love shown by this group of people is so pure and bursts with Jesus’s love for us in every way.
I transferred to Ohio State my sophomore year. At the time that I transferred I lost both of my great grandmothers and my uncle one after another. Being at a very big school like Ohio State I felt very low and alone at times. I can remember praying to the Lord to help me find friends at Ohio State who’s also walking with the Lord as I am. I joined Christians on campus the second half of my sophomore year and it was everything I needed. Good friends, great fellowship, and tons of love. I’m truly blessed that the Lord led me to this wonderful group with beautiful people who truly made an impact on my life and showed me love when I needed it.
